Our adventure begins by heading towards the southwest margin of the of Meseta del Lago Buenos Aires (Lake Buenos Aires Plateau), ascending to a semi-flat terrain with a basaltic bed, high-altitude lagoons, volcanic cones and rugged landscapes. Without any other human presence, other than those of us who make up our trekking group.
During these days we will tour the Cañadón del Río Los Antiguos where we will spend nights camping amidst the impressive views of the Andes Mountains, the glaciers of the Monte Zeballos Massif and the Monte San Lorenzo Massif on the horizon.
